I met Shawn in the early 90's in Amarillo Tx. I had finally got my hands on a 82 DEAN ML. Dimebag turned me on to the guy I bought it from. I always tell people, the guitar did'nt actually come from Dime, but it came through him. Originally it was tobacco sunburst but needed some work and being such a Dimebag fan, Shawn decided to go with Lightning on gloss black. When I first got the guitar back, I got to show it to Dimebag. He really liked the lightning on the headstock...I noticed all his guitars later started getting headstocks painted...Maybe a little influence? Anyway, I handed Dime the guitar and a nail and said sign it. He said "no way this is to beautiful". It has been my main guitar since I got it. It has been all over the USA, and Europe, appeared in several magazines, and been on national TV, on the Jerry Springer show.
